Listen again – Doing inclusive research for the V&A I Further

Written by John Whittle | 17 Jun 2022

In this webinar, Nigel Roth, Research Director takes a deep dive into how to do inclusive research.

In the Spring of 2022, the V&A approached Versiti Further's specialist diversity and inclusion practice to gauge whether its 1900 - Now gallery presented an inclusive experience for a diverse and multi-cultural audience.

The presentation is a look behind the scenes at the challenge, the work conducted and how we arrived at a research approach that gave the V&A an opportunity to observe and research the experiences of seldom-heard and under-represented visitors to its 1900-Now gallery. We also cover what the V&A learned about how the gallery could better meet its goal of conveying a globally inclusive story, and how you too can garner inclusive insight to develop experiences, campaigns, products and services that are authentic, transparent and motivating for all audiences, inclusively.

While brands have the ambition to be inclusive, many are falling short. Inclusive research requires a deeper level of understanding, and by missing the cues brands run the risk of losing existing and potential customers.

Tune into the webinar and learn how:

  • Inclusive research can leverage unique learning, and create new knowledge in your business
  • To speak with audiences in a way that doesn’t make them the object of research but engages in a way that elicits true insight; and
  • To interpret responses in an inclusive way, and encapsulate the essence of inclusivity for your brand.
